1. What CheckMyScrip is
CheckMyScrip is a free personal advocacy tool. It shows what U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) drug labels and U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM) drug data say about the medicines you enter, and suggests questions you can ask a pharmacist or prescriber. By using the site you agree to these terms.
2. Not medical advice
CheckMyScrip does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and using it does not create a doctor–patient, pharmacist–patient or any other professional relationship. It can miss interactions and other problems, it does not check doses, and it does not know your health history. The absence of a flag does not mean a combination is safe. Do not start, stop or change any medicine because of something you see here; talk to your pharmacist or prescriber first.
3. Emergencies
CheckMyScrip is not for emergencies. If you think you or someone else is having a medical emergency, call 911. For a possible poisoning or overdose, call Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222. For thoughts of suicide, call or text 988.
4. Information sources
Drug label data comes from openFDA (FDA) and is in the public domain. Drug names, ingredients and classes come from RxNorm, RxClass and MED-RT. This product uses publicly available data from the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), National Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human Services; NLM is not responsible for the product and does not endorse or recommend this or any other product. CheckMyScrip is not affiliated with or endorsed by the FDA. Source data can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and we show it as published.
5. No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise the site will be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, CheckMyScrip and its operator are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or other damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its information, including any decision about a medicine.
7. Your use
Use the site only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. Don’t interfere with the site or overload the services it relies on. If you enter information about someone else, such as a family member you care for, make sure you’re entitled to do so.

9. Changes
We may change the site or these terms at any time. The date at the top shows when the terms last changed. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
